Entre as mais not\u00e1veis, destacam-se a presen\u00e7a de <strong>gl\u00e2ndulas mam\u00e1rias<\/strong> funcionais nas f\u00eameas, respons\u00e1veis pela produ\u00e7\u00e3o de leite para nutrir os filhotes, e a presen\u00e7a de pelos, ainda que estes possam ser reduzidos ou ausentes em alguns grupos, como nos cet\u00e1ceos adultos.
