Uma das principais descobertas do estudo \u00e9 que 31 esp\u00e9cies de bact\u00e9rias aparecem em 97% das amostras. Elas formam um n\u00facleo central de microrganismos predominantes em centros urbanos de todo o mundo.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/biologo.com.br\/bio\/fungos-patogenicos\/\">Fungos patog\u00eanicos<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/biologo.com.br\/bio\/as-dez-cidades-mais-poluidas-do-mundo\/\">As dez cidades mais polu\u00eddas do mundo<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Nesse grupo, tr\u00eas bact\u00e9rias se destacam por sua grande abund\u00e2ncia: <em>Cutibacterium acnes<\/em>, encontrada na pele humana e que favorece o aparecimento de espinhas; <em>Bradyrhizobium<\/em> sp. BTAi1, microrganismo presente usualmente no solo, que fixa o nitrog\u00eanio nas plantas; e<em> Micrococcus luteus<\/em>, bact\u00e9ria que vive no solo e na pele humana e j\u00e1 foi relacionada a eventos espor\u00e1dicos de infec\u00e7\u00f5es adquiridas em hospitais.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">No total, o trabalho identificou 4.246 esp\u00e9cies de microrganismos. Entre as novas esp\u00e9cies n\u00e3o catalogadas pela ci\u00eancia, foram anotados 10.928 v\u00edrus, 1.302 bact\u00e9rias e duas arqueias (seres unicelulares semelhantes \u00e0s bact\u00e9rias). O Sars-CoV-2, causador da Covid-19, \u00e9 um v\u00edrus de RNA e n\u00e3o aparece no estudo, que foi voltado a microorganismos com genomas de DNA. O estudo \u00e9 fruto da colabora\u00e7\u00e3o entre cientistas especializados em gen\u00f4mica, an\u00e1lise de dados, engenharia, epidemiologia e sa\u00fade p\u00fablica que formam o cons\u00f3rcio MetaSUB, abrevia\u00e7\u00e3o de Metagen\u00f4mica e Metadesign de Metr\u00f4s e Biomas Urbanos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A origem desse projeto remonta a 2013, quando o geneticista Christopher Mason, da Universidade Cornell, nos Estados Unidos, come\u00e7ou a coletar amostras microbiol\u00f3gicas no metr\u00f4 de Nova York. \u201cToda vez que sentamos no metr\u00f4 provavelmente estamos nos deslocando ao lado de uma esp\u00e9cie totalmente nova de microrganismo\u201d, diz Mason, em material de divulga\u00e7\u00e3o do trabalho. Logo ap\u00f3s o geneticista norte-americano publicar seu primeiro artigo sobre o tema, pesquisadores do mundo inteiro o procuraram com o intuito de fazer an\u00e1lises semelhantes em suas cidades. Muitas vezes voltava para casa de metr\u00f4 e ficava imaginando que microrganismos estavam viajando ali comigo e como achar um jeito de estud\u00e1-los. Um colega tinha lido sobre um projeto parecido em Nova York. Entrei em contato com os autores do trabalho e me chamaram para participar da primeira reuni\u00e3o, em 2016\u201d, lembra o diretor do cons\u00f3rcio MetaSUB para a Am\u00e9rica do Sul e chefe do Laborat\u00f3rio de Gen\u00f4mica M\u00e9dica do Centro Internacional de Pesquisas (Cipe) do A.C.Camargo Cancer Center. O\u00a0<em>swab<\/em>\u00a0\u00e9 mergulhado numa solu\u00e7\u00e3o que preserva o DNA e a ponta \u00famida \u00e9 passada por tr\u00eas minutos na superf\u00edcie selecionada para fornecer a amostra. Dados como as coordenadas de latitude e longitude, a temperatura, a umidade do ar e a quantidade de pessoas circulando no local tamb\u00e9m s\u00e3o anotados.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"> O material \u00e9 ent\u00e3o colocado em um tubo que n\u00e3o precisa de refrigera\u00e7\u00e3o. Todas as coletas ao redor do mundo s\u00e3o enviadas para Nova York, onde s\u00e3o analisadas em um mesmo equipamento, seguindo a mesma metodologia. \u201cCerca de 30 amostras vieram de S\u00e3o Paulo, especialmente de bancos de pra\u00e7a e de parques, como no Trianon, na avenida Paulista, e das depend\u00eancias do A.C.Camargo\u201d, conta Dias-Neto. Al\u00e9m de locais p\u00fablicos, bicicletas de uso comum e solas de sapato, as coletas, no Rio de Janeiro, inclu\u00edram o metr\u00f4 e a Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Oswaldo Cruz (Fiocruz) e, em Riber\u00e3o Preto, o\u00a0<em>campus<\/em>\u00a0da Universidade de S\u00e3o Paulo (USP) e pontos de \u00f4nibus.
