Seu corpo era fortemente apoiado por pernas grossas e p\u00e9s consideravelmente grandes; pesco\u00e7o longo acompanhado de uma cabe\u00e7a pequena. Seu bico era largo e reto e suas narinas bem desenvolvidas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ap\u00f3s s\u00e9culos sem termos a oportunidade de observar esses animais formid\u00e1veis, pouco sabemos do comportamento das moas, tampouco conhecemos os sons que os animais faziam. A ca\u00e7a sem controle foi apontada como a principal raz\u00e3o do desaparecimento desses animais.
