A pesquisa \u00e9 feita por sequenciamento de dados moleculares e matrizes de dados morfol\u00f3gicos.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #000000;\">O resultado dos estudos filogen\u00e9ticos \u00e9 a hist\u00f3ria evolutiva dos grupos taxon\u00f4micos, ou seja, sua filogenia.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: 24pt; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\">Filogenia <\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-size: 24pt; font-family: georgia, palatino, serif;\"><strong>A<\/strong><\/span> <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/biologo.com.br\/bio\/taxonomia\/\">taxonomia<\/a><\/span>, a classifica\u00e7\u00e3o, identifica\u00e7\u00e3o e designa\u00e7\u00e3o dos organismos, \u00e9 ricamente baseada em informa\u00e7\u00f5es da filogenia, mas s\u00e3o metodologicamente distintas. Por exemplo, todas as aves e r\u00e9pteis possivelmente\u00a0descendem de um \u00fanico ancestral comum, por isso este agrupamento taxon\u00f4mico \u00e9 chamado <em>monofil\u00e9tico<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Quanto mais dados est\u00e3o dispon\u00edveis na constru\u00e7\u00e3o de uma \u00e1rvore, mais precisa ser\u00e1 a \u00e1rvore resultante. <\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Filogenia molecular<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">As conex\u00f5es evolutivas entre organismos s\u00e3o representados graficamente atrav\u00e9s de \u00e1rvores filogen\u00e9ticas.
