Por estes motivos, os v\u00edrus s\u00e3o considerados &#8220;agentes infecciosos&#8221;, ao inv\u00e9s de seres vivos propriamente ditos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Muitos, por\u00e9m, n\u00e3o concordam com esta perspectiva, e argumentam que, uma vez que os v\u00edrus s\u00e3o capazes de reproduzir-se, s\u00e3o organismos vivos; eles dependem do maquin\u00e1rio metab\u00f3lico da c\u00e9lula hospedeira. Os v\u00edrus se aproveitam da maquinaria celular para se multiplicar.
