Ambas as solu\u00e7\u00f5es, contudo, permitiram o voo eficiente. Da mesma forma, os olhos de polvos e vertebrados oferecem outro caso impressionante. Embora esses grupos tenham hist\u00f3rias evolutivas profundamente separadas, seus olhos apresentam not\u00e1vel semelhan\u00e7a na estrutura e no funcionamento, resultado de press\u00f5es similares pela acuidade visual em ambientes aqu\u00e1ticos ou terrestres com pouca luz (Land &amp; Nilsson, 2012).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-1634239fdd3fc7b9713eaf4b23d53ef4 wp-block-paragraph\">Al\u00e9m disso, os corpos fusiformes de golfinhos (mam\u00edferos) e tubar\u00f5es (peixes cartilaginosos) ilustram como a hidrodin\u00e2mica favorece formas corporais semelhantes em organismos que nadam rapidamente. Apesar das diferen\u00e7as filogen\u00e9ticas profundas, a forma afilada desses animais reduz o arrasto na \u00e1gua, otimizando a locomo\u00e7\u00e3o. Portanto, a forma segue a fun\u00e7\u00e3o \u2014 e a evolu\u00e7\u00e3o, ao que parece, repete boas ideias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace; font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Outros aspectos<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-f65dd2ec2729106e6ef8fc347afae623 wp-block-paragraph\">Por outro lado, a converg\u00eancia n\u00e3o se limita a <a href=\"https:\/\/biologo.com.br\/bio\/morfologia\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">morfologia<\/span><\/a>. Ela tamb\u00e9m pode ocorrer em aspectos comportamentais, fisiol\u00f3gicos e at\u00e9 moleculares. Um estudo comparativo entre morcegos e golfinhos, por exemplo, revelou que ambos desenvolveram genes semelhantes associados \u00e0 <a href=\"https:\/\/biologo.com.br\/bio\/ecolocalizacao\/\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">ecolocaliza\u00e7\u00e3o<\/span><\/a>, mesmo sendo mam\u00edferos de linhagens separadas h\u00e1 mais de 50 milh\u00f5es de anos (Parker et al., 2013). Assim, o ambiente atua como um filtro poderoso, canalizando a diversidade em dire\u00e7\u00f5es previs\u00edveis.
