De fato, evid\u00eancias f\u00f3sseis e an\u00e1lises moleculares indicam que essa simbiose precede a evolu\u00e7\u00e3o das ra\u00edzes modernas. Assim, ao longo da hist\u00f3ria evolutiva, os fungos micorr\u00edzicos moldaram a arquitetura e a fisiologia das plantas (Redecker et al., 2000).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3f5f809e8d2bab683cec2ff5d0bb4273\">As micorrizas s\u00e3o classificadas, principalmente, em dois tipos: ectomicorrizas e endomicorrizas. As primeiras envolvem as ra\u00edzes sem penetrar nas c\u00e9lulas, sendo comuns em \u00e1rvores de florestas temperadas. J\u00e1 as endomicorrizas, especialmente as do tipo arbuscular, penetram nas c\u00e9lulas radiculares, formando estruturas especializadas chamadas arb\u00fasculos. Assim, por meio dos fungos micorr\u00edzicos, as florestas tornam-se verdadeiras comunidades interdependentes, capazes de compartilhar recursos e informa\u00e7\u00f5es, atuando como organismos coletivos (Simard et al., 1997).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-ba1d81557d1ff04cc0af64b105ca613d\">Al\u00e9m disso, os fungos micorr\u00edzicos contribuem decisivamente para a estrutura\u00e7\u00e3o do solo. Suas hifas criam agregados est\u00e1veis, favorecendo a reten\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1gua, a aera\u00e7\u00e3o e o armazenamento de carbono. Nesse contexto, eles atuam como engenheiros invis\u00edveis dos ecossistemas, promovendo a fertilidade e o equil\u00edbrio ed\u00e1fico (Rillig et al., 2019).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-44186130578d1545d4e76e4f5a6fa254\">No entanto, o papel desses fungos vai muito al\u00e9m da esfera bioqu\u00edmica. Nesse sentido, diversos estudos demonstram que culturas como milho, soja e trigo apresentam melhor desempenho quando associadas a fungos simbi\u00f3ticos. De tal forma que o uso racional dessas intera\u00e7\u00f5es pode reduzir a necessidade de fertilizantes qu\u00edmicos, promovendo uma agricultura mais sustent\u00e1vel (Berruti et al., 2016).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-995182a67ffe5d274030e5b15ec39e3d\">Entretanto, as pr\u00e1ticas humanas t\u00eam causado impactos negativos significativos sobre essa simbiose ancestral. A compacta\u00e7\u00e3o do solo, o uso excessivo de agrot\u00f3xicos e a fragmenta\u00e7\u00e3o de habitats naturais comprometem a diversidade e funcionalidade das comunidades micorr\u00edzicas. Portanto, conservar e restaurar ecossistemas passa, inevitavelmente, por compreender e proteger essas rela\u00e7\u00f5es invis\u00edveis (Helgason &amp; Fitter, 2009).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-bad61b4bc71b32ec66895a20a4b88fc2\">Al\u00e9m disso, estudos recentes indicam que a presen\u00e7a ou aus\u00eancia de fungos micorr\u00edzicos pode alterar a composi\u00e7\u00e3o vegetal de um ambiente. Nesse sentido, programas de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o <em>ex situ<\/em>, como jardins bot\u00e2nicos e bancos de sementes, precisam considerar a simbiose como um componente essencial da restaura\u00e7\u00e3o ecol\u00f3gica (Miller et al., 2017).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\">Conclus\u00e3o<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-7aa9e7530ea8f909299d025d5a4e296b\">N\u00e3o apenas o papel funcional, os fungos micorr\u00edzicos tamb\u00e9m nos convidam a uma reflex\u00e3o filos\u00f3fica. J\u00e1 que eles desafiam a vis\u00e3o tradicional de competi\u00e7\u00e3o e individualismo na natureza, oferecendo um paradigma baseado em colabora\u00e7\u00e3o e redes de apoio.
