color: #000000;\">Calcula-se que o fitopl\u00e2ncton \u00e9 respons\u00e1vel pela produ\u00e7\u00e3o de cerca de 70% do\u00a0oxig\u00eanio\u00a0da\u00a0atmosfera\u00a0terrestre.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace; font-size: 24pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>O fitopl\u00e2ncton<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Em\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/biologo.com.br\/bio\/oceanografia\/\">Oceanografia<\/a><\/span>,\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/biologo.com.br\/bio\/biologia-marinha\/\">biologia marinha<\/a><\/span>\u00a0e\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/biologo.com.br\/bio\/limnologia\/\">Limnologia<\/a>\u00a0chama-se\u00a0<strong>fitopl\u00e2ncton<\/strong> (ou <strong><em>chacolnario<\/em> <\/strong>nome cientifico)\u00a0ao <strong>conjunto dos\u00a0organismos\u00a0aqu\u00e1ticos microsc\u00f3picos que t\u00eam capacidade\u00a0fotossint\u00e9tica\u00a0e que vivem dispersos flutuando na coluna de\u00a0\u00e1gua<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Fazem parte deste grupo organismos tradicionalmente considerados\u00a0algas\u00a0e estudados como tal pela\u00a0<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/biologo.com.br\/bio\/botanica\/\">bot\u00e2nica<\/a><\/span>, mais especificamente pela\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/biologo.com.br\/bio\/ficologia\/\">ficologia<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Contudo, dentre estas, h\u00e1 um grupo de grande import\u00e2ncia sanit\u00e1ria e de sa\u00fade p\u00fablica, que \u00e9 tamb\u00e9m classificado como\u00a0bact\u00e9ria, as\u00a0cianof\u00edceas\u00a0ou &#8220;algas azuis&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A diverg\u00eancia de autores quanto a classifica\u00e7\u00e3o dos organismos pertencentes a este grupo deve-se ao fato de possu\u00edrem caracter\u00edsticas de c\u00e9lulas vegetais (presen\u00e7a de\u00a0clorofila\u00a0em\u00a0cloroplastos\u00a0e\u00a0parede celular\u00a0com\u00a0celulose) e de bact\u00e9rias (material nuclear disperso no\u00a0citoplasma).<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"jetpack-video-wrapper\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The Secret Life of Plankton\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/xFQ_fO2D7f0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; Possuem estruturas que favorecem a flutua\u00e7\u00e3o, que no entanto s\u00e3o fr\u00e1geis. Neste grupo est\u00e3o algas de grande beleza.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Apesar de normalmente se considerar o\u00a0pl\u00e2ncton\u00a0como constitu\u00eddo de organismos microsc\u00f3picos, h\u00e1 algumas\u00a0algas castanhas, como certas esp\u00e9cies de\u00a0sarga\u00e7o, de grandes dimens\u00f5es, que podem viver livremente no meio do oceano sendo, portanto, igualmente parte do fitopl\u00e2ncton.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Bloom e problemas ambientais<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">O fitopl\u00e2ncton tamb\u00e9m pode ser respons\u00e1vel por alguns problemas ecol\u00f3gicos quando se desenvolve demasiadamente: numa situa\u00e7\u00e3o de excesso de\u00a0nutrientes\u00a0e de\u00a0temperatura\u00a0favor\u00e1vel, estes organismos podem multiplicar-se rapidamente formando o que se costuma chamar &#8220;florescimento&#8221; ou\u00a0bloom\u00a0(palavra inglesa que \u00e9 mais usada).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Nesta situa\u00e7\u00e3o, a \u00e1gua fica esverdeada mais rapidamente, de um a dois dias, dependendo da temperatura, se torna acastanhada, quando o <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/biologo.com.br\/bio\/plancton\/\">pl\u00e2ncton<\/a><\/span> esgota os nutrientes e come\u00e7a a morrer.
