font-size: 18pt;\"><strong>E<\/strong><\/span>las est\u00e3o cada vez mais amea\u00e7adas pelo aumento da popularidade dos esportes \u201cradicais\u201d, particularmente escaladas, e pelos mais aventureiros e desavisados. Perigos subestimados e desconhecidos. Estas plantas s\u00e3o muito fr\u00e1geis a impactos mec\u00e2nicos (o principal dist\u00farbio que estas atividades costumam causar), apresentando baixa resist\u00eancia e resili\u00eancia, mas sob outro ponto de vista, s\u00e3o muito resistentes ao longo do tempo&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Come\u00e7ando pela rocha em si, ela \u00e9 um ambiente que apresenta condi\u00e7\u00f5es abi\u00f3ticas limitantes para as plantas. Uma das principais adapta\u00e7\u00f5es \u00e9 a independ\u00eancia quanto ao substrato: as plantas com esta caracter\u00edstica absorvem \u00e1gua e nutrientes do ar, como por exemplo, esp\u00e9cies de Brom\u00e9lias e musgos. \u00c9 interessante observar que muitas ep\u00edfitas das matas conseguiram colonizar afloramentos rochosos por apresentarem esta independ\u00eancia, e vice-versa.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/biologo.com.br\/bio\/manejo-adaptativo\/\">Manejo adaptativo<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/biologo.com.br\/bio\/biocombustiveis\/\">Biocombust\u00edveis<\/a><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Outra adapta\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 relacionada \u00e0 toler\u00e2ncia \u00e0 seca: a pecilohidria e peciloclorofilia. A fam\u00edlia cactaceae \u00e9 um bom exemplo de plantas que armazenam \u00e1gua, e existem esp\u00e9cies de diversas fam\u00edlias que apresentam sucul\u00eancia, pelos e ceras.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-family: 'courier new', courier, monospace;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>longevidade\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #808080;\">&#8211;\u00a0Resistentes como a rocha<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Neste ambiente, a sele\u00e7\u00e3o natural atua em favor da longevidade. Isto porque a maioria dos microhabitats favor\u00e1veis ao estabelecimento e crescimento das plantas j\u00e1 est\u00e1 ocupada sendo dif\u00edcil deixar prole, j\u00e1 que a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de sementes seria o \u00fanico m\u00e9todo de reprodu\u00e7\u00e3o e dispers\u00e3o neste tipo de ambiente: n\u00e3o \u00e9 poss\u00edvel se expandir muito por clonagem. Entretanto, poucas s\u00e3o as pl\u00e2ntulas encontradas. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ao inv\u00e9s de anuais, perenes de alta longevidade s\u00e3o as mais comuns. Quando h\u00e1 sazonalidade no ambiente, ocorrem esp\u00e9cies anuais (na maioria oportunistas) e tamb\u00e9m aquelas que permanecem como estrutura subterr\u00e2nea de reservas (ge\u00f3fitas), que crescem e se reproduzem na esta\u00e7\u00e3o favor\u00e1vel. S\u00e3o geralmente encontradas em microhabitats mais \u00famidos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Desta forma, um afloramento rochoso \u00e9 um ambiente altamente seletivo e com uma flora particular bastante diferente do entorno. \u00c9 uma fonte de novas formas vegetais e at\u00e9 mesmo de novas esp\u00e9cies, quando h\u00e1 isolamento suficiente do entorno, tanto no tempo quanto no espa\u00e7o. Por exemplo, entre 30 e 40% das plantas end\u00eamicas da Europa ocorrem na rocha. Este ambiente, ent\u00e3o, contribui e continua contribuindo para o aumento da diversidade vegetal. Por serem t\u00e3o adaptadas ao ambiente, as plantas rup\u00edcolas possuem baixa habilidade competitiva. Afloramentos rochosos s\u00e3o por isto considerados \u2018armadilhas evolutivas\u2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A rocha geralmente apresenta uma topografia bastante heterog\u00eanea, h\u00e1 superf\u00edcies lisas, fissuras, canais de drenagem, \u2018panelas\u2019, cada uma em diferentes inclina\u00e7\u00f5es e orienta\u00e7\u00f5es. Esta elevada heterogeneidade cria diversos microhabitats, o que vai permitir a coexist\u00eancia de um grande n\u00famero de esp\u00e9cies e formas de vida. Cada microhabitat produz microclimas pr\u00f3prios, que em parte derivam das caracter\u00edsticas da face rochosa principal e em parte das particularidades do pr\u00f3prio microhabitat. As esp\u00e9cies se organizam em ilhas de vegeta\u00e7\u00e3o, manchas isoladas que se desenvolvem a partir de uma planta pioneira, a qual se estabeleceu em determinado microhabitat, modificando-o.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Condi\u00e7\u00f5es espec\u00edficas e estritas no ambiente f\u00edsico selecionam diferen\u00e7as em popula\u00e7\u00f5es pequenas e isoladas, levando a uma variabilidade fenot\u00edpica e genot\u00edpica.
