Este DNA \u00e9 frequentemente modificado quimicamente <em>in vitro<\/em> e ent\u00e3o inserido em bact\u00e9rias para selecionar tra\u00e7os desejados e isolar o produto desejado de derivados da rea\u00e7\u00e3o.
