S\u00e3o 12 sexuais em um conjunto total de 22 cromossomos. \u201cO que define, visualmente, serem cromossomos sexuais \u00e9 haver diferen\u00e7as entre os cari\u00f3tipos de machos e de f\u00eameas\u201d, explica Gazoni.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Os cromossomos exclusivos de um sexo seriam respons\u00e1veis por defini-lo. Durante a evolu\u00e7\u00e3o, o que acontece \u00e9 que os autossomos v\u00e3o sofrendo altera\u00e7\u00f5es que podem dar origem a cromossomos com genes espec\u00edficos para um dos sexos.
