Todas as c\u00e9lulas possuem DNA, o material heredit\u00e1rio dos genes, e RNA, contendo as informa\u00e7\u00f5es necess\u00e1rias para sintetizar v\u00e1rias prote\u00ednas como enzimas, as m\u00e1quinas prim\u00e1ria da c\u00e9lula. Existem tamb\u00e9m outros tipos de biomol\u00e9culas nas c\u00e9lulas.
